Synchronous Chat Therapy (50 Minutes)
Chat therapy is a modern, text-based approach designed for those who express themselves best through writing or who require a higher level of “invisible” privacy. Unlike email therapy, this is a synchronous 50-minute session, meaning we are both logged into a secure, encrypted chat app at the same time, exchanging messages in real-time. This creates a fast-paced, interactive dialogue that allows for immediate feedback and exploration.
This modality is perfect if you find it easier to organize your thoughts on a keyboard or if you live in a shared space where speaking out loud isn’t an option. The “written record” of the session allows you to scroll back and reflect on insights as they happen. We use a specialized, healthcare-grade messaging platform to ensure that every word sent is protected and private. At your scheduled time, you simply log in and we begin our conversation. It’s a low-pressure yet highly effective way to engage in professional counselling, meeting you exactly where you are—right at your fingertips.
How the Process Works
You can decide which type of session you want now or later, or switch between them (video, voice, chat, email) at any time. Once you reach out via intake form or service request form, we’ll contact you with the next steps!

Fill Out Consent Forms
You will fill out consent forms via our secure portal before your first session. This will include billing, insurance info, and consent.

Join Your Appointment
Once you’re ready to go, your appointment links or instructions will be emailed to you, including access to the DIY booking portal.
